Brand new concept exhibition by The Design & Objects Association (D&O)

New designs showcase in Bangkok International Gift Fair and Bangkok International Houseware Fair 2014 - Oct.

HOSPITALITY OBJECTS THAILAND (H.O.T) is a brand new concept exhibition initiated by The Design & Objects Association (D&O). Dating back to 1999, D&O is made up of more than 60 corporate members with a diverse mix of backgrounds: from architecture to engineering, and design ranging from interiors and graphics to industrial and fashion. The group’s aim is to showcase new designs to international buyers and to encourage even more Thai designers to create refined, quality products and see them through to international standard manufacturing.

H.O.T. is made possible with the support of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Royal Thai Government.


H.O.T. (Hospitality Objects Thailand) provides a meeting place for Thai designers and multinational businesses with an interest in trade and investment involving Thailand. It’s a venue for exchanging ideas and identifying common purposes to pursue in both the private and government sectors in Thailand, the Asian region, and the World.

H.O.T. Objectives:

- To exhibit cutting-edge, new evolutions and trends of Thai design

- To bring together the best of design in Thailand into one creative space, and set a unique new design direction for Thailand

- To promote the development of trade and commerce between Thailand, it’s Asian neighbors, and the world


H.O.T. 2014 will be staged under the thought-provoking theme of “FANTASY / FUN-TO-SEE”, a novel concept revealing a wide array of new designs from leading Thai brands catering to the hospitality industry such as hotels, restaurants, spas and resorts etc.


H.O.T. 2014 will be located within the 38th edition of the Bangkok International Gift Fair 2014 & Bangkok International Housewares Fair 2014 (BIG & BIH 2014).

Visitors will witness a brand new collection of distinctive interior design concepts that have grown out of the flourishing markets and demand across Asia, and demonstrate the ever-growing demand for refined, Asian-made products.

The highlight of H.O.T. 2014 will be a specially designated zone called “FantAsia & Futuristic Hotel Space Design”, created with the support of the Thailand Institute of Design and Innovation Promotion (under the DITP),

The show will also include anexceptional, next-generation Design Showcase, co-created by the Thailand Interior Designers’ Association (TIDA) and the Design Objects Association (D&O).

Other elements featured include the The Innovation Plus Design Style Café, whilst Talent Thai, Asia Talent and T-style, I-SAAN Objects are among other attractions to display young Thai design talents.

D&O will also introduce the stunning “FantAsia Restaurant” where some of the best leading chefs in Bangkok will demonstrate their culinary repertoires with innovative, one-of-a-kind kitchenware and other design cooking utensils.
